-Because this is the site for you! Here I will try to explain the basics [from start to finish] of an inexpensive and successful family break.

-[got some work ahead of me then!]-

INTRODUCTION

Have you ever woken up in the morning, feeling refreshed, with the fresh smell of early morning dew wafting through your nostrils? Me neither, until I rediscovered camping!

Hi, my name’s Adam, I’m 29, have a partner, Charlotte [24] and a son aged 5 [who’s name is Keaton], and two years ago we bought our first family tent, a 4 berth ‘Royal Monte Carlo’.

Now, previously, I’d either camped in the back field with some mates in a two man, traditional, tent [cramped!], or slept much more comfortably in my dads second hand trailer tent [circa 1970, probably!] at Landbeach, Cambridgeshire [which no longer exists]. So, like many people, I didn’t know what the hell I was doing whilst looking for my first family tent, one that was in my budget [around £100].

If this sounds familiar, you’re in the right place.
